Campus Library Bergheim

The Campus Library Bergheim is the common library of the institutes of the Faculty of Economics and Social Sciences. You can find there academic literature on the subjects of sociology, politics and economy.

The library conveys about 350 000 books and journal volumes, including a part of the textbook collection of the University Library on sociology and economy. Apart from the library collection on four floors, there are 300 workplaces for students, including individual workplaces and rooms for group work.

Closing & opening hours over the turn of the year (Christmas/New Year 2024/25)

On Friday, 20.12.2024 the library closes at 5 pm. From Saturday, 21.12.2024 to Wednesday, 01.01.2025 (New Year) the library will be closed. On Thursday, 02.01.2025 & Friday, 03.01.2025 the library will be open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., on Saturday, 04.01.2025 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. On Monday, 06.01.2025 (Epiphany) the library will be closed as on all public holidays. We wish you a wonderful Advent & Christmas season!

Important

Since 1 September 2024, jackets and coats (overwear) may no longer be taken into the library! Please lock them in the basement like bags and rucksacks. Thank you very much!
