During other times service for registration and deregistration (user cards, notice of discharge) and settling fees is not available. Students and members of Heidelberg University can sign up online for using borrowing service of the library.

Closing & opening hours over the turn of the year (Christmas/New Year 2024/25): - Friday, 20.12.2024 the library closes at 5 pm.
Saturday, 21.12.2024 until Wednesday, 01.01.2024 (New Year) the library will be closed.
Thursday, 02.01.2025 & Friday, 03.01.2025 the library is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Saturday, 04.01.2025 the library is open from 10-18 o'clock.
Monday, 06.01.2025 (Epiphany) the library will be closed as on all public holidays.
Changes to opening hours and closing days will be announced via the homepage and notices in the library.
